Welcome to Southern Attractions
Running daily from 7.30am to 10am, and from 3pm to 4pm on Dunedin's Channel 9, Southern Attractions aims to provide information and enticement to visitors about Dunedin attractions by profiling them.
The show’s airing times are designed to catch tourists before they leave their accommodation in the morning, and when they return prior to dinner and might be planning their activities the following day.
All Dunedin residents know about the amazing scenery surrounding their city, and the many fantastic attractions for tourists and visitors.

Curious about what lies beneath?
Visit The Aquarium on the Otago Peninsula. See stunning sea creatures such as octopus’s, seahorses, crayfish, sharks and much more. Stroke a spiny star-fish, smell the fresh salt air, sample the local sea-weed, and hear about the colourful history of New Zealand's oldest marine science institution.
The Aquarium is open daily between the hours 12-4:30pm. It also features guided tours running at 10:30am with alternative times available for groups on request.
