Jimmy’s Pies first came to Roxburgh back in 1960. Relocating from Invercargill. The business took over a local bakery about the time when construction was finished at the Roxburgh Hydro Dam.

From here Jimmy’s Pies began wholesaling pies around the Central Otago District. This growth continues with Jimmy’s Pies available in most of Otago and Southland. They can also be found in some parts of South Canterbury and South Westland.

You’ll find them at Dairy’s, Service Stations and some selected Supermarkets. Keep your eye out for the distinctive green Jimmy’s Pies signs.

The business originally started with only four staff, and due to their recipe for success in the pie market, Jimmy’s now employs thirty people. The pies are made today with the same recipe. They are all manufactured in Roxburgh, all ingredients are proudly made in New Zealand and all the sheep meat is Halah killed.
