Visit The Aquarium on the Otago Peninsula. See stunning sea creatures such as octopus’s, seahorses, crayfish, sharks and much more. Stroke a spiny star-fish, smell the fresh salt air, sample the local sea-weed, and hear about the colourful history of New Zealand's oldest marine science institution.
The Aquarium is open daily between the hours 12-4:30pm. It also features guided tours running at 10:30am with alternative times available for groups on request.
In addition to viewing these amazing underwater creatures the Aquarium also offers a host of other activities. Get involved in the action by visiting the Aquarium on a Wednesday or Saturday between 2 and 3pm to feed the fish yourself.
